Moving Forward

By Michael Arnold & Gail Camacho

Gail Camacho & Michael ArnoldFor us, 2025 has been about evolving. As we move into a new era of leadership at Informing Change, we are excited to share what’s ahead and are strengthened by the solid foundations our company has built since our beginnings in 1998.

The two of us are now equal partners and co-owners of Informing Change, with Michael now serving as sole Executive Director. Together, we bring years of experience advocating for diverse communities, navigating numerous ownership transitions, and leading during economic challenges. We share a deep commitment to equity and prioritizing our shared humanity.

We see this moment as the perfect opportunity to elevate our longer-tenured team members, bringing new voices into shaping the decisions that chart the firm’s course going forward. We are excited to announce that, from left to right:

Caitlin Stanton, Omar Alcover-Firpi, Evan Gattozzi

  • Caitlin Stanton joins our Leadership Team in her new role as Director.
  • Omar Alcover-Firpi joins our Leadership Team and has been elevated to Associate Director.
  • Evan Gattozzi has been promoted to a new position as Senior Project Manager, furthering our excellence in structure, processes, and responsiveness to clients and projects.

These new roles formally recognize how each of them has stepped forward in growing their team responsibilities and leadership, and their contributions to our company’s culture and strength.

Informing Change has been around for almost three decades, and we don’t intend to stop anytime soon. We continue to reject systems that center inhumanity as the status quo, and remain committed to:

  • Offering strategic learning and evaluation that values curiosity, integrity, compassion, and social justice in solidarity with others.
  • Supporting those engaged in community power and mobilization for meaningful change in their ecosystems.
  • Maintaining existing partnerships and pursuing new ones with an urgency and persistence that respects the dignity and lives of those around the world.

We are heartened and proud to lead this team. While we may have gotten smaller, Informing Change’s commitment to a just present and equitable future remains as strong as ever, despite all that 2025 has brought to our sector’s doorstep.

We remain encouraged daily by the partners, peers, funders, nonprofits, and agencies that have not wavered in this fight. We are proud to stand beside you all and encouraged as you stand with us.
