Gail supports the company’s growth and long-term sustainability by overseeing its organizational development and infrastructure, including finance, human resources, operations and communications. As part of the Management Team with the President and CEO, Gail directs and contributes to growth activities that further the company’s strategic business goals, and builds on Informing Change’s thriving talent by conducting staff recruitment and coordinating professional development. Gail also develops and improves company culture, evaluates internal processes, and ensures organizational alignment behind the company’s vision.
With years of experience working in nonprofit administration, beginning at the YWCA of San Diego and then at the Museum of Children’s Art (MOCHA) in Oakland, Gail has committed her professional life to working with organizations that provide high quality services in pursuit of improving their communities. At MOCHA, she oversaw human resources, established financial policies and procedures, served as Interim Executive Director and assisted with organizational planning, board relations and the completion of their strategic plan.
Dedicated to her community, Gail serves as Board Chair on the Board of Directors for Oakland Leaf Foundation, a nonprofit empowering Oakland youth through community transformation. Gail was also a former board member of Purple Silk Music Education in Oakland’s Chinatown. She is an avid college basketball fan and enjoys taking pictures of her food.
Gail holds dual BAs in Third World Studies and Health Care-Social Issues from the University of California, San Diego.
