Maya provides research support to client projects, including data collection and analysis, survey programming and administration, data presentation, and administrative support.
Prior to joining Informing Change, Maya worked as the Project Coordinator for Emerge America, a political campaign training program for women candidates. In this role she provided communications and operations support, as well as special projects management, including database administration and election and legislation tracking. Maya’s background includes work with legal advocacy groups like the Center for Constitutional Rights and the American Civil Liberties Union, as well as youth development programs for first-generation college students, including America Needs You and Let’s Get Ready, based in New York City.
Maya holds a BA in Sociology and Human Rights from Columbia University. She enjoys backpacking, political podcasts, and fresh bagels, and one day hopes to finish a New York Times Sunday crossword without cheating.
