Dina de Veer
Dina works on a range of applied research, evaluation and strategy projects. Her role includes managing projects, articulating theories of change, developing data collection instruments, conducting data collection, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, interpreting and visualizing findings and contributing to reports. She currently serves on project teams with clients such as the San Francisco Film Society, Kindling Group, the County of Santa Clara Behavioral Health Services, the MacArthur Foundation, the Stanley Foundation and ROI Community. She has also recently worked with ITVS, Barry Foundation, the Immigrant Legal Resource Center, Sweetwater Spectrum, Hewlett Foundation, Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland and Blue Shield of California Foundation.
Before joining Informing Change, Dina was Research & Evaluation Manager at Active Voice in San Francisco. She designed, managed and conducted mixed method evaluations and assessments for a range of social policy campaigns, facilitated strategic learning and contributed to research and strategy development. Dina also worked as a junior research analyst at IMPAQ International (formerly Berkeley Policy Associates) in Oakland for several years, where she gained substantial experience in data collection and analysis on various multi-year evaluations funded by the U.S. Department of Education. She speaks Spanish and Portuguese.
Dina holds an MPP from the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a BA in Sociology and Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
